It was one stop of our 'road to celebrations' to mark Mr Be's big birthday, my birthday, our big wedding anniversary, and my daughter's, RB, Graduation Day. The track consisted of:
# 22th of June: meal at Jamie Oliver's Restaurant (here)
#29th of June: meal at Pesto
#6th of July: meal at Damson (here)
#12th of July: meal at The French (here)
#13th of July: meal at Harvey Nichols
#13th of July: watching Too Clever By Half at Royal Exchange Theatre
#16th of July: breakfast at Aubaine (here)
#17th of July: Graduation Day
#17th of July: meal at Try Thai
#20th of July: meal at Cibo (here)
The idea of choosing HN was initiated with looking for a place to eat not too far from Royal Exchange Theatre. Because we had never been to HN, we decided to have a go.
When I checked on its website, 3-course meal would cost £40/person. When we (my husband, my daughter PB and I) arrived, we were given menu stating £20/person for 3-course meal plus a cocktail. Wow! What a nice surprise. Everything was superb. The food were all delicious, the presentation was nice, and the service was good. We were very happy.
When I booked the table I mentioned that we were celebrating my husband's birthday. Surprise surprise, a staff presented a cute cake with a happy birthday. Very thoughtful!
Would love to return specially if the offer is on again.
