Restaurant 'Dubravka 1836', Dubrovnik - Croatia

Delicious food, nice place, courteous staff, not so expensive

My husband and I had dinner at Dubravka during our short visit to Dubrovnik. We didn't read any review and didn't expect much. I was excited to try when I saw 'Ribsteak Dalmatian style' on the menu, because I like rib and I have wanted to try some 'Dalmatian' thing. 

When we entered I was impressed, the place looked quite classy and romantic with a candle on the table. They have outdoor seatings as well with nice sea view, but it was too cold.

The Ribsteak turned out to be so delicious, and my other half's Gratinated beef was also nice. The meat was really tender, the portion was just right.
All the staff were very nice and courteous. Overall, we didn't find any fault.
The bill was about £47 for 2 mains, beers and tips. We were presented with 'on the house' spirit at the end of our dinner. A nice surprise.

Dubravka 1836 is located at the Pile Gate, on the right side of Old Town entrance. It is next to Nautica, and in the same management as Nautika.

Gratinated steak. Sliced beef with delicious cheesy sauce.

Ribsteak Dalmatian Style. Served with mashed potato, Swiss chard. 

Garlic and some herb dominated the taste. Brilliant.
